Our unsexed chicks are available from hatch and are sold with a 4-chick minimum. These chicks are perfect for backyard flock keepers, hobbyists, 4-H families, breeders, and anyone who simply loves Silkies.

About Unsexed Chicks:
Silkies can be notoriously difficult to sex when they are young, so purchasing an unsexed chick means you are accepting the possibility of receiving either a cockerel or pullet. We cannot guarantee sex on unsexed chicks.

Shipping & Returns
We know it can be a little nerve-wracking waiting for your new babies to arrive, so we do everything we can to make shipping as safe and smooth as possible.
Chicks are shipped using USPS Priority Mail Express in approved live-chick shipping boxes with appropriate heat/cooling support when needed, as well as ample food and water gel. We carefully plan shipping days around hatch dates, weather, and postal schedules to give your chicks the best possible trip.
A few things to know:
- Chicks are shipped on our scheduled shipping days.
- Shipping dates may be adjusted for extreme weather or other conditions that could put the chicks at risk.
- Transit times are not guaranteed and can vary once the package is in the hands of the postal service.
- You’ll receive tracking information once your chicks ship.
- Please make sure someone is available to receive the chicks when they arrive.
- Your local post office may contact you when the chicks arrive, so keeping an eye on your tracking and phone is important.
