Ready to hatch some fluffy little Silkie babies of your own? Our fertile Silkie hatching eggs are collected fresh from our breeding flock and carefully handled from coop to box.
Whether you're an experienced breeder, a backyard chicken keeper, a 4-H kid, or trying your first hatch, we're here to help you have the best experience possible!
What You’ll Receive
Our hatching eggs are sold by the dozen and may include a variety of colors depending on which breeding pens are producing at the time. We breed for beautiful, healthy Silkies with a focus on improving our flock with each generation.
Eggs are collected regularly, handled carefully, and packed specifically for shipping.
A Few Things to Know Before You Order
Hatching eggs are a natural product, so fertility and hatch rates can never be guaranteed. Even perfectly fertile eggs may not develop or hatch due to shipping, handling, incubation conditions, or other factors outside of our control.
For the best chance of a successful hatch:
- Allow shipped eggs to rest before setting them.
- Use a reliable, properly calibrated incubator.
- Follow recommended temperature and humidity settings for your incubator.
- Handle eggs carefully and avoid unnecessary movement during incubation.
- Remember that every hatch is a little different — that's part of the fun!
Because hatching eggs are shipped, we cannot guarantee a specific hatch rate, fertility percentage, chick color, sex, or number of chicks hatched.

If you're new to hatching, don't be afraid to ask questions. We've all had the "what the heck happened in my incubator?" hatch at some point.

Shipping & Returns
Hatching eggs are delicate, and unfortunately, once they leave our hands, we can't control what happens along the way. We take great care to collect, package, and ship your eggs safely, but shipping is always a little bit of an adventure!
Shipping
- Hatching eggs are carefully packed to help protect them during transit.
- Eggs are shipped using the shipping method selected at checkout.
- We do our best to ship fresh eggs as quickly as possible after collection.
- Please open your package as soon as it arrives and inspect the eggs carefully.
- Shipped eggs should be allowed to rest before being placed in the incubator.
Please keep in mind: Shipping can affect hatchability even when eggs arrive looking perfectly fine. Rough handling, temperature changes, delays, and other factors during transit can impact development.
Returns & Refunds
Because hatching eggs are a perishable, time-sensitive product, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for eggs once they have shipped.
We cannot guarantee fertility, development, hatch rate, chick color, sex, or the number of chicks that ultimately hatch. These factors can be affected by shipping, incubation, and conditions outside of our control.
If your package arrives damaged or you have a significant issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the package and eggs so we can document what happened and help however we can.
